OUR 2024 LITTER is a REPEAT BREEDING TO TEX used in our 2021 LITTER
The 2024 litter arrived on February 3. The litter of eight defied the odds with 4 girls and 4 boys. Please contact us for more information about obtaining a pup from this litter.
The 2021 litter was all chocolate and we expect the same for the 2024 litter. The 2021 litter was 7 girls and 2 boys. It arrived May 1, 2021, The dam of the 2021 litter was Hope, half-sister to Abbey who will be the dam for the 2024 litter.
Sire is Duxbac Prairiestorm Vortex WCX JH (Tex) of Oaklane Retreivers (pictured above). Dam for the 2021 litter was Mekokama's Bustin' with Hope (Hope). The dam for the 2024 litter is Maggies Chocolate Clan Abbey.

The pick list for this litter is on a first come basis. An application needs to be filled out and approved. The Deposit of $500 CDN is required to hold your spot on the pick list. This deposit is fully refundable if we are not able to meet your requirements for a pup (while we do our best to ensure the health and safety of our pups, accidents and disease can sadly happen.) OUR 2019 LITTER
In 2019 we had to find a different sire, as Bill was having surgery and Bustin was not available. There were four boys and six girls. The Sire was Born to Hunt Gator Man, call name "Gator" (above and more pictures under 2019 Litter). Follow the link for Born to Hunt to see more information about Gator. Maggie and Bustin' (image above with Bill) had eight puppies in their 2014 litter and 10 in their 2017 litter. Bustin' is a beautiful chocolate lad from Illinois and obtained his Master Hunter title in 2017. Follow the link to Blindfaith Retrievers for more information. Pup purchase price in 2017 was $850 CDN.
In 2014 we bred Maggy to Bustin' and had a litter of eight pups. We asked for a $200 deposit, and charged $750 for each pup. Because of the complications of C-section and mastitis, we did not recover the costs of the pups so charged more for pups from the 2017 litter.
In 2011 we bred Kassey to Drake and had a litter of seven puppies. We asked for a $200 deposit, and charged $750 for each puppy. We kept one puppy, Maggie.
In 2004 we bred Koko to Brady and had a litter of ten puppies. We asked for a $100 deposit, and charged $450 for each puppy. We kept one puppy, Kassey.
Since moving to Vista Wix we have lost most of our pictures and videos. We will try to used You Tube for videos of the 2024 litter.
