While we were not able to keep track of all pups right from birth because I forgot to take the nail polish with us, we were able to keep track of the first two girls Mauve and Pink. We lost track of the first boy so colours were just reassigned on the first day, when weights were taken. For the boys, the selected colours were blue, red, green and orange. For the girls, the selected colours were pink, mauve, yellow and teal. The colours were applied to the tops of their heads as that was somewhat less irritating for them than to their paws.
