So it has been a week for us to absorb the fact that Kassey did not catch this time. All the anxious new puppy families have been informed and deposits returned. About 30% of breedings do not catch, so I guess I should not have been surprised. But I was. The first AI was so successful and we had such a wonderful litter that I just felt it was going to be another grand adventure. We are still very grateful to all those who had faith in our little clan that they signed up prior to the litter even being born. And we truly appreciated all your understanding that not all breedings catch. As one person relayed to me, perhaps the winter has just been too long! And we truly appreciate the effort the Mandy Cielinski made to get us the semen in a timely manner.
